Hi.... Iwas supposed to travel to Switzerland and when my company informed us that we are travelling to Sydney Australia instead of Switzerland, it added to my excitement. Trip is called amazing australia and when my flight took off from Sydney airport back home.....we all thought that Australia is really amazing. Flight to sydney was really smooth with a break in Singapore on Singapore Airlines and the moment we landed we started smelling australian courtesy. Suprisingly wehnwe are unde4r heatwave,winter has just staretd in Sydney and its the most beautiful city. Australia is such a huge country with population of Just 20 million and sydney with all infrastructure in place with low population. Still they have developed lots of tunnels as a preparation for future as they feel land may be insufficient. Apartment culture is just picking up in the city. We stayed in Starcity Hotel on Darling Harbour. Its a huge complex with casino attached but you would never feel the casino environment in the hotel. Beautiful hotel with good facilities. We had our lunch in Zaffran Restaurant in Harbourside mall and lunch was so beautiful with a harbour view and view of sydney skyline. There is an automated bridge which opens at specified timings when ships arrive. Our dinner was on Sydney showboat cruise where we are made to treat like VIPs. Excellent performances and sea breeze added to our excitement. Cruise attendents warned us against throwing cigarette stubs inSea as its banned. Sea is so clean and we can see cops being vigilant on the sea. Sydney tower,operahouse and Harbour bridge are engineering marvels. We had our dinner in Sydney town hall which isa 19th century heritage building. We have travelled to blue mountains next day where we have travelled in world steepest railway in Katoomba. On route the featherdale wildlife park brought us closer toAustralia's wild life where we had befriended ourselves with Kangaroos,Koalas and Tasmanaian Devil apart from snakes,crocdile etc.,Next day we visited Bondi beach which is the finest beach and surprise.....we visited SCG...Sydney Cricket Ground before we disembark at pitts street post lunch for our shopping. Thebestthing about the four days we are there is that we have never seen a traffic jam in the city and its absolute pollution free and smoke free city. Its true that Australia is truly amazing.
